SpectX presented their X-ray inspection technology at the AIRTuB event: Sensors for damage inspection of wind turbine blades
The AIRTuB (Automated Inspection & Repair of Turbine Blades) event was hosted on April 12th, 2022 at TU Delft, Faculty of Aerospace Engineering with the aim to share knowledge in the field of sensors for damage inspection of wind turbine blades. The stage was set for Akhilesh Goveas, founder and CEO of SpectX to present the company’s developments in autonomous inspection and asset management of offshore wind turbines using Non-Destructive Testing of structures with the help of synchronised drones, and X-ray digital aerial radiography.
The event will deal with sensor technology in offshore wind turbines and is the perfect platform to network and discuss possible follow-up projects for SpectX.
