SpectX Presented at the Offshore Wind Innovation Centre - Knowledge Sharing Day
The topic of the presentation was entitled “Development of a non-destructive inspection technique for wind turbines”.
The event about energy storage was hosted on April 25th, 2022 in Nijlicht, Eemshaven and was organised by the University of Groningen.
Akhilesh Goveas, founder and CEO of SpectX presented the company’s development in autonomous non-destructive testing of wind turbine structures using aerial digital radiography made possible with synchronised drones and X-ray technology to detect internal structural defects.
